Why we built this
The platforms this community has relied on for years haven't kept up. Search barely works, discovery means scrolling forums by hand, and there's no real way to tell a verified member from an anonymous account with a stolen photo. We think a community this size deserves better infrastructure — not a nicer coat of paint on the same problems, but a platform built around how people actually use it today.
Libkyn started as a simple question: what would this look like if we built it in 2026, with real verification, real privacy controls, and real moderation, instead of bolting those on as an afterthought?
